Alright, so I scrapped the image map layout, (dead and gone, thank GOD), and spent all of friday and yesterday writing out a new site. So, I'm in love with it. ^.^ The only problem I've come across so far though, is that I posted the first chapter of one of my fanfics on the site, and, for some reason, all of the quotes turned out wonky. They're all a small black question mark inside a white diamond. I'm just sitting here like 0.0 trying to figure out WHY it's doing that, but I have no clue. So I'm hoping that someone might take a look at it and tell me what's up? Here's the link to the page: ClickieYou can look around if you want, but I don't have much up there yet. Neb, I believe there are specific codes for quotations. Just like, if you want an & symbol you have to type out &-a-m-p-; without the dashes. Otherwise, yes, wonkiness ensues. I'm not sure what the code is for the quotations, but I'll see what I can find out!  |

Yeah, I was wondering if that was what it was. The thing that got me was, that they worked sporadically throughout the document. I was banging my head against my keyboard, let me tell you. Hmm... I do know about those though, like, if you, for some strange reason, actually care about indenting your paragraphs, you have to type five " "'s for the five spaces to show up. Just general "wonkiness", I guess. *shrugs*

Oops, forgot about this xP Well, If figured out the code, and it was one of those ampersand code things. Something like "′". *shrug* Anyways, I completely scrapped that layout and have something easier to work with up now. Once I finish up a bit more of the pages I'll post a link somewhere. Thanks!

Hahaha yes they do! There's also &-h-e-a-r-t-s-; which becomes ♥ and I believe &-c-o-p-y-; will get you a copyright symbol. They come in very handy!

Dang, it takes me forever to update threads in this forum... But yeah, they do ^.^
Of course, now that I finally got a layout I like, I'm already bored with it. I haven't even built all of the pages yet! *sigh* Oh well... I'll make this one work out better. The other one's banner loaded kinda slow.

If you use word 2007, the quotes always screw up.
