Perhaps it would seem a bit foolish of me to state to thou who didst make this website that one such as I does not know the process by which one would obtain the avatar that even one whom I hold very dear who is not on the site tied in recieving in the original poetry contest? I was simply hoping to see what ark took the time to make from his daylight hours, yet there were more than 30 and 5 avatars listed! So shall I remain one lost in the blizzard of things unknown by which all creatures eventually meet with the eyes of cruel doom. Is it wrong of me to inquire, as it my be stated once in one place or another unbeknownst to myself, as is the usuall case of all things that fall upon one such as I? Or have I done right in asking what I know not to the one who had made the site in the vission which she saw fit? A response to this Greek-sounding post is warmly welcomed, my friend. DL

Well I am not very fluent in Greek danteslover, so I am not exactly sure what you are asking here. The avatars that were created for awards for these contests were created by ladyidril. They are displayed on the front page of the website, if you would like to take a look. novicewriters.netThe only avatars that I know of that were created by ark are at the following link. spaces.msn.com/fanficker428/Now I'm not sure what he created and what he just grabbed from the net. You'll need to ask him to be sure. I hope this helps. M.

Indeed it does help. I am sorry for confusing ladyidril with ark. I considered the possibility of a mistake there after I had posted it, but was far too lazy to change it. I basicaly asked you if you knew how I could retrieve and use the avatar/signature I won in the original poetry contest for the winter, since I'm oblivious to doing so for myself. I've seen it, but getting it to use it is beyond me. *shrug*

I can help you out, DL. The best way to get your avatar and signature would be to go to the links: img.photobucket.com/albums/v112/vividkc/nw/febmar-poetry-2sig4.jpgimg.photobucket.com/albums/v112/vividkc/nw/febmar-poetry-2av4.pngthen right-click on each image and hit "Save Image As..." and save it where you can find it. Then either go to an image hosting service such as www.photobucket.com or www.imageshack.us (or, I think, Ark offers avatar hosting so you could pm him about that) and upload it to an account there. Once that's all done, just go into the "profile" section at the top of the forum here and copy the URL you get from your image hosting site, paste the avatar URL where it says "Avatar" and then the signature one under "Signature". Only, with the signature one you need to add this tag: [*img]your url here[/img*] But you must take out the asterisks for it to work. Hope that helped
