Anyone who wants to talk about their holiday feel free to do so here.
Mine was filled with presents, cooking a ton of food and just reminiscing with the family.
Got up at 5am and started cooking even though I've been cooking for days now. The kids got up at 6:30 and immediately opened presents. They seemed very happy.
I got a new iPod from hubby and a glass lamb from the kids. Hubby got a Playstation 3 from me and a couple of things from the kids. The kids got lots of arts and crafts stuff and games.
Anyhow everyone is happy and full. Now its nap time.
I hope everyone else has had a good holiday too.
So this is wishing everyone a Merry Christmas or whatever other holiday you may celebrate.

I woke up at 7. Went to wake my Mom up, she sent me back to bed. Too early. Sat at my computer and watched Slayers on Youtube for an hour and a half, then woke up my family because I was tired of waiting. Opened presents, generally happy, got on here, realized that there were contests, (duh... Stupid moment there for me lol), and decided that I had to do one... One turned to two, and now I'm working on my third entry lol.
Ate Christmas dinner at 3, (that's when the ham got done, so that's when we ate), played High School Musical Sing It! on my sister's Wii, just watched The Nanny Diaries, and I'm typing here and am about to go into the living room to watch Over the Hedge with my mom and my dogs and my blanket.
Merry Christmas!

Sounds like a fun day except for being sent back to bed that is.
After I got off here we picked out one of our favorite movies The Three Musketeers and watched it, then we just lazed around for a bit. Then we had Dinner and now I'm thinking about finding something else to watch.

My Christmas consisted of being woken at the time that I usually leave for classes: 6:30 in the morning. Needless to say, I was like, "WTH! Go back to sleep!" My sister was jumping on my bed, but I have a tempurpedic mattress, so it doesn't work that well. Hehe Well, about fifteen minutes later, she came back up and I yelled at her more, but eventually got out of bed....I'd hardly sat down on the couch before she was ripping open a present. She was ecstatic because Santa Claus had come the previous night, and my dad got pictures. *cough cough* Sorry for anyone who believes in Santa, but I took pics of my dad in a Santa suit putting presents under the tree. It was...interesting. Anyway. My sister got a new gameboy DS game, two movies (Robots and Shrek the Third), a Mio (a robotic dog), and a bunch of other stuff. My parents got clothes, I got my dad a PS3 game... I got some interesting stuff. Two movies, Batman Begins; an iCat (it listens to music with me); a Josh Groban CD; a make-your-own-candle thing; some lotions for classes; Heelys (I haven't busted my tail yet...); candy; a sketchpad; and some Hello Kitty stuff. Plus, my best friend mailed me three pairs of some awesome socks. A joint present for me and my sis was the PS3 game "Rockband". It's pretty sweet. We ate gumbo, like we do every year, and it was awesome. Then we munched cookies and lazed around for the rest of the day, yay. My sis and I played Rockband for a few hours. And that was my Christmas.

lol, where do you live that you eat gumbo? You mentioned earlier that you used to live near Mobile, but like 15 years ago... sorry for being nosy lol.

S'fine. I currently live in the wonderful state of Virginia, but having southern-raised parents and being raised there myself, gumbo is a yearly Christmas tradition. This year's gumbo for my parents was hilarious. They used this Italian sausage that was very close to going bad, and then did go bad in the gumbo, so it started bubbling...by itself. We were all like, "EWW!!" and it smelled like dead body. >> At least my gumbo is still alive! I'm vegetarian....

lol, sounds like fun. I hope you laughed at them. It wouldn't be Christmas if you couldn't laugh at your parents when they do something stupid. My Mom lost my little sister's present from Santa on CHRISTMAS EVE and I had to help her find it... And I did find it. And then I laughed.
