Yeah, I'm a firm believer in constructive criticism. I have a story in my queue I've got to read for someone up here and let him know what I think, etc....and lately I've been reading Howl's Moving Castle fics. Now, I'm a grammar Nazi and it takes a lot for me to sit down and read a full fanfiction because I'm persnickety, but I don't read everything since it's ff.net and that place has kind of got to hell in a handbasket recently (blessedly, HMC is still nice), and I don't know anyone up there, really. Now here, on the otherhand, I know that I'm going to (figuratively) see you all at least weekly, likely more, and we all have the potential of getting to know each other...I guess I'm biased when it comes to this but I'm more apt to help people out here than on ff.net unless they're a decent writer that meets my standards but would still need and like help. Here, yeah I know if someone needs help, we're all willing to help 'cause this is a tighter-knit community. And now that I just realized I rabbit trailed...to initially answer, once again, your question: just like everyone else said, post it then forget about it.

ah, yea this is a pretty close sight here. On a lot of the other sites i've been on for writing not many people seem as willing to read a story and give advice on it as people are here.

I guess maybe I should clarify what I mean by a flame. I don't want to scare anyone to death.
If someone writes something that's just lame and has no suggestions for bettering a story such as "This sucks. Quit writing" then I'll go on a witch hunt so to speak.
If you write something giving advice as to how to fix a story I'm all for you. You don't have to like the story. You can even say you don't like it just as long as you state your reasons and they are valid.
M.

Haha Hi! Sorry I haven't been around much lately. I didn't get to say hi earlier. I'm the closest thing you have to fear around here, and I'm not terrifying at all. *Bites lips to cover fangs* I'm a tough reviewer, but I absolutly love devling out advice. I hope to read that story of yours! Wyve

I'm just extremely picky when it comes to my fanfiction...and I like to give constructive criticism whenever I see it's needed....and being the grammar nut that I am, I usually find SOMETHING to mentally poke at in any story, but it's not always that I mention it....
Maybe we should start a new topic on this, M? xD In fact *goes off to do that*

Phew! -falls into chair- Thank GOODNESS you cleared that up, Miss M! It's bad enough that on fanfiction. net, there are people who are PROUD of flaming outrageously!
Man oh man, I was scared I'd be banned! Usually, I'm not as sensitive as this (and during that time, I'm usually not here) but thank mercy it doesn't last very long! (However, I can feel like not being the internet addict I am for a while and still feel the sting a year or so afterwards. (Yes, I know that made me sound like a wuss, but its true.))
