Hmm... I had this conversation with Mage already. But, okay! The name danteslover, for those who don't already know, comes from one thing in particular.
I have this sick obsesion with the Devil May Cry video game series (I freaked when I realized the new PotC movie had a subtitle aranged as DMC), and thusly with the main character as well. Well, his name is Dante. Technically, my name is based on a VERY old story that the game DMC is based on called... I don't remember, but the name is very catchy. But anyway, at the time of creating my account I was (and still pretty much am) obsessed with the game and into the fanfiction more than anything else. All of my names were based on the game, and even my hotmail e-mail bears a stricking resemblance to a forum for the game I used to often visit.
Since I so love the game and it's main character, Dante, I decided I wanted to be reminded of the game whenever I logged in. A lot of my other names are based on video games, especially DMC and Kingdom Hearts, and sometims Drakengard. I've earned the nickname dl, but who wouldn't with such a long name? xp

He he, just been directed here by an inquirer.
pen name; Legislatum
Why did I choose it; Hmmm.... its a warhammer 40k term for "scribe", in the fantasy language of "high gothic". The legislatum follow inquisitors (40k versions of the Spanish ones) and are often seen as the wisest, though most vulnerable. The book I am currently reading( a 40k one) has a character in it called Aemos... and I rather like him.
I have to say, it was a close knock with Midas, who is my other favorite character. Though I admit that a scribe is more appropriate than a groxing pilot!
How does it fit in with my genre; well, it follows my usual fan-fic universe, and is sci-fi (my normal writing stuff). It also has a mechanical aspect to it (a 40k thing, don't ask) and I take inspiration for plots from the workings of machines, and it is also how I develop my characters.
