Congratumalations! I liked it^-^!! I'm rather surprised, no one's writing happy stuff this time; rather surprising but my style as well... I can't even remember how to write happy any more... In any case, I love this. It truly expresses how some people would rather die than watch their friends get hurt, let alone be the cause of their death......... That is my idea as well; my idea exactly...

Well, I've been reading about the Nazi war crimes.
BTW, Dachau was a real concentration camp (the first, I believe), and Weiss really was Commandant, he was hung after recieving a trial by the Americans.

Hey anime,
I really enjoyed your story -- it seems like you spent quite a lot of time researching it. Thought it was brilliant.
There was just one thing -- and since no one else has mentioned it, maybe I'm just nuts, or there's something wrong with my computer. But I had some trouble following the story. The shift in point of view really threw me, since there seemed to be no warning that it was coming up. And a couple of the sentances didn't really make sense.
Actually, looking back, this whole paragraph confused me:
" “Blöde schwein,” Axel said as one of the men fell near him. Axel looked at his polished black Schutzstaffel boot. He was SS, one of the most feared organizations of all time. His black clothes matched his heart, or so he thought. He looked down at the man with his crystal blue, a lock of blond hair fell over one of his eyes. The man was a classic jew, big nose, brown hair, and dark eyes. "
I had trouble figuring out whose boot Axel was looking at. At first, I though that Axel was the Jew, and that Abel -- the SS -- had fallen. I had the same trouble with their descriptions, although that might just be my own loopiness. I'm pretty sure no one would describe an SS as "a classic jew." ;D
Anyway, just thought I would say that. I ended up reading the story twice, and once I had straightened out who was Axel, and who was Abel, I really enjoyed it.
Well done!

*laughes* Only I would describe an SS as a "classic jew," but really, Axel was SS, Abel was the jew. Actually Abel is a name from the old testement.
As for research. I was reading a book about Dachau at the time, so, yeah, I did research.
I'm glad you both liked it.

It's ironic that I just began to study the Holocost and Hitler in school, right after I read this, don't you think?
