I'd like to put together a playlist of songs that remind me of summer (either the lyrics or just the feel of the song) and I was wondering what everybody's favorite summer songs are?
Here are some of mine:
"Gone Going" - Black Eyed Peas feat. Jack Johnson "Happiness" - The Weepies "Call Me Your Darlin'" - Thea Gilmore "Chicago" - Sufjan Stevens "Upside Down" - Jack Johnson (he's, like, the voice of summer) "Something More" - Sugarland "The Dog Song" - Nellie McKay "Us" - Regina Spektor "Summer in the City" - Regina Spektor "Shy That Way" - Tristan Prettyman feat. Jason Mraz "Portions of Foxes" - Rilo Kiley "With Arms Outstretched" - Rilo Kiley "Such Great Heights" - The Postal Service "We Will Become Silhouettes" - The Postal Service feat. Jenny Lewis "Tom's Diner" - Suzanne Vega "Where the Colors Don't Go" - Sam Phillips "California Girls" - Beach Boys "Hey Good Lookin'" - Jimmy Buffett "Summertime" - Robbie Williams "Seaside Rendezvous" - Queen "Soul Meets Body" - Death Cab for Cutie "I Will Follow You Into the Dark" - Death Cab for Cutie "Summer Skin" - Death Cab for Cutie
Any suggestions? Favorites?

"Dancin' With Myself" by Billy Idol comes to mind. That and "Rebel Yell", also by Billy Idol. "Welcome To The Black Parade" - My Chemical Romance "Headfirst for Halos" - My Chemical Romance "Early Sunsets Over Monroeville" - My Chemical Romance "What I've Done" - Likin Park "Shut Me Up" - Mindless Self Indulgence (because it's a fun song that I just recently heard) "... To Be Loved" - Papa Roach (because it was a hot day ona car ride to go fishing when I heard it) "Teenagers" - My Chemical Romance (Just about anything by MCR actually) "Rooftops (A Liberation Transmition)" - Lostprophets (not really sure why...) "Lips Like Morphine" - Kill Hannah "Sugar, We're Goin' Down" - Fall Out Boy "Dance, Dance" - Fall Out Boy "This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race" - Fall Out Boy

"I Will Follow You into the Dark" by Death Cab for Cutie is a great song, by the way. I love you immensely for that. You have no idea how completely and utterly obsessed I was with that song. It was absurd. ;D
