Well, since I know both Ri and I sew, and probably others too, I decided to start a sewing and/or knitting and crochet thread. Here you can tell other people what you're doing, show pictures of patterns, show pictures of the finished product, and show pictures of the material. So, my turn. Just recently, we were going through my grandma's estate. I inherited all of her old sewing patterns. This woman made all her kid's clothing! And better yet, they were all girls. I probably got 10,000 dollars worth of patterns in today's money. So, this summer, I'm going to make some of the stuff. Here's a pattern I plan to do soon. I'm gonna make the purple one on the first, and the cream one on the second. Except I will do it in less fancy fabric. So, now you get to tell me about your craft projects! Love, mage

I like to do embrodrie (can't spell) and cross-stich, but I haven't got any patterns...I think I have thread for the former, if I can find some material...maybe that white sheet of mine...

Haha, I sew (not that amazing at it tho) The thing i made that i liked the most was 2 elf costumes i had to make for me and my stepmother to where in a christmas parade. It was funny trying to make elf shoes that didn't cover over the heel of our riding boots and had an elastic on the back (we were on horses) lol.
Personally, I'm more into scrapbooking. Last year I made a big scrapbook for my Gr 12 year cuz I had so much to put into it. It can be sooooooooo much fun, but a lot of work.
Toodles,
Ting

Never learned to sew actually (I know how did I manage that? Believe you me I tried hard to avoid it.), but I did learn to crochet. Never used a pattern though. I always just did whatever I felt like doing, so in other words I came up with some odd stuff. Here's a picture of a blanket I made. M.

I don't use patterns, except for cross-stiching and a few other things that usually come in boxes... Okay, I found two things (not embrodrie-sp?- but something else that I don't know the name of). I started being interested in things like these in Kindergarten, when a teacher let us work on a huge one she was working on during the rain. It's basically made with a hook and yarn. That's Tommy from Rugrats. I took the picture on top of the dryer. It's the biggest one (the other is smaller). It's about 2X2 ft. Okay, this one just didn't want to upload for the longest time. The lighting is horrid, but it's visible. It's about 1X1 ft.
