I'm moving into a larger house, where I will have my own room for once! Even if it is only for about ten months. And this time, it won't be quite as much of a hassle.
Secondly, my mom is surprisingly allowing me to put darkish blue highlights in my hair temporarily. Yay.

Huh...I didn't know you guys were moving AGAIN. Jeez...lol Message me with details, dear cousin. I'm curious. Oh, and good luck with the blond child later this month. At least she'll keep Shelby entertained. And I want pics of your blue highlights. They're so much fun! But please tell me you're seeing a stylist for them? They're extremely hard to do at home. Your hair is light enough that they MIGHT show up without bleaching your hair first, but they would be ten times more obvious if you bleach first. Experience speaks. Okay. Gratitude...grateful...I am grateful that I'm actually on a computer without my sister bugging the crap out of me. AND that I'm on my way home at last! Just a little longer until my flight back to the east coast...wooooo.

I'm finally moved into the new house. Er, for the most part. It's still rather unorganized, but it's nice to be almost finished.

My parents bought two new laptops; an Acer and Gateway. c: Now I'll be able to transfer my writing to one of the laptops, since the old Mac I have isn't hooked to the internet within this house. It contains all my writing, hence the reason I haven't really posted anything on the site. But, yay~

I thought of a few things I'm grateful for. They came around Christmas time, one of the worst times of the year for me.
The first to come was a message that I didn't expect at all. It was a reply from someone that had never answered before and doesn't answer now. And I'm stubborn enough to keep writing to him because he hasn't changed his mood to anything negative since, so I guess I'm also thankful for the fact I could help him.
There's also that I was able to see my brother early for Christmas since he had gone away for college. We've also been able to talk on the phone with each other, and text message each other. He still teases me, but it's all in good fun.
I thankful that both of these were able to make Christmas easier for me, that I didn't feel as bad when watching my sisters get along so well with each other and not really notice I was there. My brother and David Matranga (a voice actor) both helped me through it, even if they didn't know it.
Then there's my mom. I'm thankful that no matter what, she'll always be there for me if I need her, and even if I don't. I'm thankful for all the times we laugh together and that we get to spend so much time together.
Last, but not least, I'm thankful for my friend Shirin. She convinced me that I am better than I think I am, and that I should never give up on what matters most to me.
Okay, I think I've made this long enough. I'll stop, now.

I love this thread!! Why didn't I see it before?? haha I'm grateful there are so many other people who take the time to BE grateful. And then to read what other people are grateful for. I'm grateful right now for quite a few things. I feel they'd be silly if I put them here though, so I'll just say I'm grateful to be living because I'm actually happy this year. Unlike last... I'm grateful for Jesus Christ's love for me and for my family and amazing friends. Done. (for now)

I'm grateful that people are utilizing this thread I started so long ago.
I'm grateful to be back on this site after a long hiatus.
I'm grateful for ballroom dancing, especially the hustle, the tango, the rumba, and the viennesse waltz (though I haven't learned that one yet)
I'm grateful for good books and good company.
I'm grateful for beautiful landscapes and elegant vistas that are everywhere if we just take the time to look for them.
I'm grateful to be fortunate enough to go to college next year (though I don't know where yet).
