Hey, neb sent me to this awesome site called Free Rice. For each vocabulary word you get correct they donate 20 grains of rice to fight world hunger. It's an awesome idea to help the less fortunate and boost your vocabulary at the same time. If you want to keep track of your vocabulary level and the amount of rice you have donated just click on options and then select the second option. If you wish to discuss your levels and such feel free to do so here. M. |

ClickieDid you know that the US signed TWO agreements saying that it would donate .07 cents of it's capital gained EACH YEAR in 2002 and hasn't even set up a schedule for us to get that far? The letter above can be printed out and sent to the white house, telling the president exactly HOW we feel about being the SECOND to last nation in the United Nations to reaching that goal. 70 cents out of every 100 dollars is NOT a lot of money, and our country can do better than it is doing. Yes, I read that on the website. Made me really dissapointed in our own nation. I'm gonna send that letter to them tomorrow and hopefully they'll get enough complaints to do as they promised.
I ended up quitting at 5180 grains of rice for tonight. My brain was beginning to fog over with definitions. I also managed to get up to level 40 on the vocab words. I didn't know I knew that many words.

The highest I got was a 45. It's hard! But some of the definitions are off.

I noticed that a few of them were not quite what I expected, but there are many different meanings to words. So it might just be me too.

No, I don't think so... I looked some of the words up in the dictionary and they weren't very close.
