Link(Discuss, profile necessary for participation. IC only.)Hmm, honestly, this isn't that surprising. Many modern medications are highly toxic in non-regulated amounts, so it isn't unreasonable to think that such medications would have such extreme side effects. Either way, regardless of the results of the study, these medications should be tested further before they are released to the market.
Of course, this is why I rather prefer magic.

my kind doens't get sick. As a result, i've never had to deal with theese kinds of problems and the Lycan language doesn't even have a word for suicide. The only honorable way for a Lycan to die is in battle.

In these more modern times, the way of the warrior is all but nonexistent. Still, diseases and plagues continue to react and evolve to evade the crushing grip of human intuitiveness, which is troubling.

The way of the warrior is the way of my people and it is an honorable way. The humans are too feeble minded to understand it.. Besides it looks like its the drug that is killing the humans in this case not any type of disease. They are being killed by their own creation.

It wasn't but a decade ago that I realized the backwards tendencies of the way of the warrior. The true good denizens of this realm are philanthropic. Remember, humans long ago practiced the ways of the warrior in it's truest form.
AS for the result of their medications... unfortunate, unreasonable, but not the short of feeble mindedness, simply of genuine error.

hmm, it's true the humans had adapted quite well to the way of the warrior. In fact, i remember a couple of humans who i consider exceptions and very honorable followers of the code, but that is beside the point.
These humans made a grave error because of their greed. If anything a human's greed, in my opinion, is far greater than that of the fattest Dragon.(no offense to any dragons who may be reading this *glances at wyve*) For my people a warrior's greatest pride is in the protection of his people.

Logic dictates that since this has only recently come into the scientific eye, it is merely an unforeseen consequence of the use and prescription of medication intended to save humans from suffering or death.
