Well, for those of you who know the story of Howl's Moving Castle, read on. Those who don't, read if you like spoilers. The picture is portraying how Howl learns to love truly, rather than his usual fickle nature, and allows Sophie to have his heart. The movie isn't so deep on this as the book, but it does nearly end with the line, "I think we ought to live happily ever after; it'll be hair raising," from dearest Howl, who before had been a commitmentphobe. Anyway. Here are the original pictures I used: SophieHowlLinkThe finished product was achieved by resizing the picture of Howl to be correctly portioned against Sophie; removing the Witch of the Waste from the picture of Sophie; filling in the colors around Howl; painting over the jpeg pixels to make the colors fuller and smoother in Sophie's face, hair, and dress and Howl's face and coat; some saturation in Sophie's dress, Calcifer, and Howl's coat; some motion blurring; and a lighting effect over Calcifer. Made in Adobe Photoshop 7.0.

Nice, Ri, I had a feeling you'd do either Fullmetal Alchemist or Howl's Moving Castle for this...I was right.

Very nice, Ri! Did you add the shadow behind Howl or is that from the previous picture? It looks perfect, like it's really his shadow.

That's actually supposed to be clouds from the original picture; I ahdn't realized that it was maybe Howl's shadow. ^^; But whatever works...lol
Thanks, all, for the comments. I was a little worried about this for a little while when making it but it looks pretty okay.
