Hmm, this is going to be tough. I'm not familiar in the slightest with either of the fandoms besides my own presented here. Hmm, seems I'm going to have to set aside some time to nit-pick for detail rather than relevance to the fandom. I fear the same will apply to my own as well, which doesn't really worry me, I rather like what myself and my fellow competitors have done with what I've read so far.
--reading period--
Okay, once again, this is a tough one. I'm gonna go out on a limb and not vote for myself, and it'd be interesting to see everyone involved vote solely on skill rather than bias.
Flame, your skill is excellent, but still improving. Your seemed to have the potential to elicit much more emotion, but it ultimately failed to illicit much from me beyond a mere 'More depressed teenagerdom'. Which isn't bad, I do rather admire a few elements of your style. Similarly, as a pet peeve, i really, really have something against ending with a question. It's not even a cliffhanger, in fact, it makes things seem so unfinished that I lose much appreciation for anything beforehand. That's just a personal thing, and I bet that if I knew the fandom better, the story would have been more emotionally relevant.
For example, mine may as well fall short in a similar area, since it wasn't written originally for contest, but I don't wanna talk about mine, it isn't my current concern. Next time around, I expect to see you build on your stronger points, and make the emotion a bit more dynamic and forceful. Thanks for an interesting read.
Ri, fantastic writing, and exactly the caliber I'd expect from someone with a style that I highly revere. Keep up with what you've been doing, and you're definitely getting somewhere. YOur story struck me as bizarre yet actually adorable. You know how little I know of Howl[/u], yet your story still allowed me to connect with him as a character, and without having much insight beyond a bit of thought and dialog, paint an image of his character. Bravo, you get my vote.
Good show ladies, I hope to have another literary tussle in the future.

You flatter me, Ark dearest. Thank ya for the kind words. Quite glad you enjoyed it so.
As I've not had the chance to read anything else, I'll find some time for that soon and cast my vote as well.
