You know, I have so many nicknames that probably wouldn't be considered flattering to a normal person. Amplifier of Evil, Evil Amplified, Evil Twin, Mayor of Cliffie Town, and the list goes on and on.
And I'm really not that bad a person.
I hope your muse doesn't stay on strike. My plot bunnies are working over time right now, they just don't want to work together anymore. One wants me to write this story and another wants me to write something different and none of them can agree on anything. I've started three new stories in the last two weeks and refuse to post any of them for fear that I'll never finish a single one. Why can't my plot bunnies just get along?

I'm seeing a lot of "evil", that's all I can say. I think that I've rather got a fear of ruining my stories. Each of my ideas means a lot to me, and every time I go to write one of them I tell myself, "Don't! That could be your big break, you could be the next Diablo Cody without the stripping and the phone s*x, and you're just going to turn it into a drabble?"

Ah, you can't be afraid to write something. That will lead you to a point where you'll never write again. I think you've forgotten the reason you should be writing. Don't write for a contest. Don't write for someone else and what you think would please them. Write for yourself. If you are in pain put it on the paper. If you are happy slap that on there. If you are lost and confused so should your characters in your story be.
I've found that the more I put of myself in my stories the better they are. Other people can see your soul shining through when you really lay it forth on paper and they appreciate the raw emotion you show them.

I love that quote. I have another to add to my favorites if you don't mind.
