Title: Any Other Way Rating: K Disclaimer: ... Mine? Duh. Slipping and sliding on muddy roads, Trying to gain my bearing, Landing on my knees with a solid and painful, “Thump!”.
Finding solid ground under my feet, When I step blindly into the darkness, Searching for a light to fill a hole inside me.
Shouting and yelling; a cacophony of noise, Hustling and bustling in a wide city street, Shoving and angry words being yelled.
Chirping birds and bubbling creeks, Leaves rustling in the howling wind, Relaxing in a place that's mine alone.
My loved ones' arms around me, My own arms around them, Safe, secure, special, loved.
Searing hot pain in my head and my heart, The unbearable agony of betrayal, My own whimpering in acceptance and defeat.
Friends and friendships kept and created, Loved ones lost, loved ones gained in vain, Losing them before their time.
Unpredictable, wild, untamed, Words to describe the feelings life gives me; I wouldn't be worth it any other way.

Oh my gosh, I absolutely love this. Just reading the words seems to build up a feeing inside of you as you go along. It's perfect for the word Rush.
Awesome job.
