This story is based on "Star Trek" in the Alternate Universe (will be explained later). Sergeant Johnathon Oak, the platoon sergeant of his platoon on the USS Normandy, ends up in a deep shipwide search for his son, David, who has mysteriously gone missing.
He brings this to the CO, Commodore James Woomer. Woomer ignores him completely. He says he is delusional. Oak then goes to the counselor, who says she can sense David on the ship in his quarters. Oak is now angry. He is left with one option, mutiny. He begins this by taking over the bridge. The task is not easy, but he will do whatever it takes to find his son.
Is this a cross between the primary and alternate universe? Or is Oak really seeing things?
Prologue
Oak was sleeping in his bed next to Arwen when a sound awoken him. He jolted up...everything seemed fine. "Computer, dim lights," he stated to the computer. The lights came on to a low setting after a chirp. Oak could tell something is different. He isn't sensing David, just Violet. He got up and clenched his fist, worried and scared to what he might find.
He slowly got up and walked slowly towards the crib with phaser in hand. He was scared, he began to shake. As he came closer, a chill creeped up his spine. He came to the crib. He looked inside...his fears were now true and real. David was gone but Violet was still resting peacefully.
Tears formed in his eyes. He couldn't believe it he began to cry and sat down on the bed holding the phaser tight. How could this be? How could someone disappear without waking the person next to them? He got up now filled with anger...he had to find his son. Alone he got up and left the quarters to a shipwide search.
