I don't think it fits here very well, but I wasn't sure where else to put it.
Silk Roses
She sits at home all day; He tries so hard to understand; While the kids are at school; What went wrong or where; She's got no money and nothin' to do; When they were young; The neighbors call her insane; They promised to love each other; She sits there -- a silk rose -- Forever; Elegance hides the truth; He's not sure how much more; A pretty name, a pretty face; He can take; Is all she has left; A silk rose sits on his desk; Her mind left long ago; A memory from the past; Long before the last child came; Of another lifetime; The doctors say; Faded, but not forgotten; "She'll be all right. Don't worry," He remembers in his dreams; Psychiatrists poke and prod; A time when she remembered his name. She doesn't care anymore; The woman he once loved, Was only an illusion.

Très beau! I like it very much. It reminds of the movie What Dreams May Come.

I'm glad you like it. I've never seen What Dreams May Come. What is it about?

What a beautiful poem. I enjoyed the indirect way we figured out what the poem was reffering to. A very touching subject.
Favorite line:
He tries so hard to understand; While the kids are at school; What went wrong or where
