Well, here's one I wrote while thinking deeply about how too many girls are left to die, and die they do. I realize that it rhymes in some places and not in others but that's just how I wrote it... Now without any more rambling, here is; She’s Been Cut OffRated: TEEN
She’s Been Cut Off
Doesn’t anyone see me? Doesn’t anyone care? Is there a single soul, Who sees this gaping hole? Does anybody understand, Exactly what I’m going through? Does anyone know, What I’ve been told not to show? Can’t anybody see through me? Does anyone know the pain I’m feeling? Please help me, I don’t wanna be-
“She’s been cut off, What she was saying you’ll never know.” “What she was feeling, She was unable to show.” “The color in her cheeks was slowly fading when she wrote this, But nobody saw her, She was locked away.”
“She’s been cut off, What she was saying you’ll never know.” “Because, they found her in her room, Laying on the ground, But no one was around.”
“She’s dead, She took a gun and put it to her head, She fell out on her bed, Rolled to the floor, Stone cold, Dead...”
“She’s been cut off, What she was saying, No one, Will ever know.”

That is a very powerful poem, and you are so right, too many people end up that way, unheard.
