If you post or plan to post in one of the threads I moderate than you've already seen this, if not, than you get to see it now.
When adding pairings to summaries, so there is no confusion for uninformed readers please write them like this:
PartnerAXPartnerB---basically PartnerA is who wears the pants and PartnerB is the other partner. (for boy/girl pairings always list the male as the dominate and female as the submissive)
PartnerAXPartnerB/PartnerBXPartnerA---basically both partners share in dominance and submissive roles equally.
PartnerA/PartnerB---Where Partner A has feelings for Partner B but either Partner B doesn't return those feelings or Partner A does not know they return those feelings.
PartnerAXPartnerBXPartnerC---threesome pairing. Menage de tui (or however it is spelt, French was never my best language). TopXMiddleXBottom (Does not always have to be in that order in the story, but for the most part...) more partners can be added after C
PartnerA/PartnerB/PartnerC---love triangle or where cheating is envolved. Partner A and B are in a relationship and C is the one B is having an affair with (please put with PartnerAXPartnerB or PartnerAXPartnerB/PartnerBXPartnerA pair format). More names can be added after C but to indicate that they're both with B put a "+" between them instead.
When adding warnings please use the following:
Slash---to indicate male/male pairings are present in the fic in anything.
Yaoi---to indicate male/male pairings are present in the fic in anime or an anime crossover.
FemSlash--to indicate female/female pairings are present in the fic in anything.
Yuri--to indicate female/female pairings are present in the fic in anime or an anime crossover.
When writing an NC-17 fic, which would go into the "Above Teen" Catagories when we get them or to hint at something in a story that is PG-13 and up use these codes:
bd (bondage domination)--The use of restricting objects such as handcuffs to increase sexual pleasure.
bdsm (bondage domination sado-masochism)--Same as bd, except whips and other items of "punishment" may be used.
non-con--In short, rape. The s*x was unwanted and probably mental (as well as physically) harmed the recipeint.
When adding warnings about sexual activies in fics PG-13 and above use the following:
Orange--make-out scene, may get as steamy as removal of shirts and groping
Lime--Prelude to s*x. Basically anything you see in an R-rated movie's s*x scene. Breasts may be described in brief (a brief sentence), but keep it cut. Pants may be removed, but underware must be present.
Lemon--Hardcore s*x. Everything goes. Describe all you want, but try to keep it...realistic.
Ratings (a must for all fiction):
K--no pairings, nothing that can scar little children.
K+--pairings can be mentioned in passing (implied) but nothing explicit, no swear words, miminal violence (similar to Bambi).
T--pairings can be present (orange level), a few swear words, average violence, the expelling of wastes can be used
M--pairings can be present (lime level), swear words can be used in excess, violence at any level, brief or implied nudity of the non-sexual nature with no discription of things below the waist and above the thighs (shower rooms, preparing for shower, ect.)
A--Anything you want, lemon--If seen anywhere other than the "Above Teen" section the person responsible will be in trouble.
If warnings or ratings are not present where they need to be you will receive a warning which may, if not complied, result in the deletion of your story.
