A/N: Well, yes, I do know the title is a sucky one... But I'm bad at titles. Come to think of it I'm bad at everything... But yeah. Anyway. This was originally a request from Megumi, KnH's wonderful senior admin.
This is mainly het (oh yes, my first het fic) but there is slash in it too. Beta'ed by Tama-sama, the fantastic perfectionist.
Disclaimer: None of them are mine, nothing in this (and I do mean nothing) is factual. The only thing I own is the plot, myself (Hui Lyne) and Julius, a pretty boy who lives in my imaginary harem.
Rating!: (forgot the first time round) PG-13 for earlier chapters... later chapters will have NC-17 content. I really have no right to read NC-17, let alone write, considering how old I am. x)
So here we go.

Chapter One
Tora…
‘What?’
Tora…
‘What?! Who are you?’
Tora…
Tora sees a girl waving at him from across a river.
‘What kind of dream is this?!’
Tora…
Tora could see the girl’s face very clearly now.
Tora...
“AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!” Tora sat up abruptly. And was promptly bashed in the face by a pillow.
“Shut up, Tora… some people are trying to sleep,” grumbled Saga irritably. Tora stared at his hands, which were trembling uncontrollably.
It wasn’t the first time he had seen the dream. But it was the first in which he could actually make out the girl’s face. If he had been a bit more observant, he would have noticed that it started when they decided to visit Malaysia for a special concert.
When Bis quit, he had suggested going to an obscure country to have a concert. Shou asked why. He said he felt like getting away from all the attention and wanted to go somewhere where they’d be almost unknown.
Surprisingly, Hiroto – the stingy one – had supported his idea and defended it by saying they would benefit from the small break from cheering crowds.
Tora’s real reason was, of course, unknown to the other band members.
In truth, he’d had a short fling with Tsukasa, Bis’ guitarist. Ah, to have loved and lost is better than to not have loved at all, goes the old saying. Tora didn’t believe it.
Tsukasa had told him that their short-lived romance was over, and to get on with life. Girls were much better for him than guys.
Tora knew very well that was true. He hadn’t actually wanted to be with a member of the same s*x, but curiousity had egged him on. Now, he reflected on Tsukasa’s words and decided that they were quite right after all. Sighing, he rolled over and tried to go back to sleep.
‘I need a girl, na…’ was his last coherent thought before sleep took him over.

Hui Lyne poked her sister despairingly.
“Get up, pig. We’ve got work to do.” Her sister’s arm waved around vaguely, eventually connecting with Hui Lyne’s prodding hand.
“Ouch. Okay, fine, Jyy Wei. You don’t want to meet my friend with me, fine. I won’t get you Massu’s phone number. I have it. And you know it,” Hui Lyne threatened.
Jyy Wei sat bolt upright.
“Coming, coming! And what is with your friend? Waking me up at this time just to do some unknown thing of yours. Pontianak?!”
Hui Lyne shook her head. “No, she’s an ordinary vampire. Not so interesting, is it,” she replied solemnly. Jyy Wei glared.
After a lengthy period of time, during which Hui Lyne ranted to her invisible companion about the terror of having a teenage sister (as usual completely forgetting she herself was a teenager) and the horrible things they did, Jyy Wei was done.
Jyy Wei told her, as she toweled her hair dry, that “There’s nothing as bad as having a sister who calls herself a frog and talks to invisible people.”
Hui Lyne flipped open her cellphone and dialed a number. She pressed a button and switched the mode to loudspeaker.
“Hello?” The voice on the other end was hoarse and authorative.
“Hi, Merlyn. This is Hui Lyne. Where’d you want to meet us again?”
“24 hour chicken rice place.
“Aw, man, can’t you meet us in Atria?”
“Drive. I’m already there.”
“I can’t drive – ”
“Jyy Wei.”
“Oh. Well. Okay, then. Meet you there,” said Hui Lyne. She closed her cellphone.
“I assume you heard that, considering you’re standing right behind me,” remarked Hui Lyne. Jyy Wei gave her a look that would burn her up and sweep her ashes into the dustbin.
“If you’re not driving me, no phone number,” Hui Lyne said indifferently.
“How do I know you even have his phone number?”
Hui Lyne dialed another number, covering the screen of her phone as she did so. A dial-tone, then a Japanese voice informing them they would be transferred to the voice mailbox.
“Hello, you have reached Massu’s handphone! Leave a message and I’ll be right back with you,” The NewS member’s voice issued from the speakers on Hui Lyne’s phone.
“Hey, Massu! It’s Hui Lyne here. If you could send me an autographed copy of one of your posters, I’d be grateful. It’s for my sister,” she said in fluent Japanese, having went to Japanese classes in preparation for her exchange trip to Japan.
“Say hi, Jyy Wei.”
“Um… Wow, it’s Massu. This has been my dream for so long! Hi Massu!! I’m a big fan of NewS – ”
“That’s quite enough. Geez, I asked for a simple ‘hi’ and there you go rambling about your intense obsession about NewS. Sisters,” she added to the phone, before closing it.
“My phone has great security. You’re not getting into my call register without my explicit permission. Now, shall we go?”
Jyy Wei gaped. Hui Lyne was a personal friend of Massu’s. That was something she had not seen coming. She wouldn’t have guessed that was where she got all the NewS merchandise she gave Jyy Wei for her birthdays in a million years.
“I didn’t know you – ”
“There are a lot of things you don’t know about me, Jyy Wei. A lot of things,” cut in Hui Lyne smoothly.

Megumi swatted a mosquito away from her ear. The lolita costume had been a success. Hui Lyne had said she looked pretty in it. The wonders of make up.
She was alone in the house, her parents and siblings having gone to a dinner party that she refused to dignify with her presence. Dinner parties had many cousins to whom she did not wish to ever speak to again. Ever.
She’d heard that Alice Nine were coming to Malaysia for a concert, and she was chatting with d2star on MSN. d2star was telling her how lucky Megumi was and how jealous she was.
Megumi grinned. She was definitely going to their concert, even if the ticket prices were way beyond her. She could always borrow money from someone.
But then again, her liking of Tora had recently increased a whole d**n lot. It made her wonder if she’d fallen in love with the guy, even without knowing what he’d be like in person.
The phone rang. Megumi went to answer it.
“Hello?”
“Is this Megumi?”
“Yes, speaking. What is it?”
“Your parents and siblings… they’ve been in an accident.”
