Why does the censor have to be so mean? The name of the movie is "Fun with d*ck and Jane".
Did anybody see it? I manage to get there last week. I thought it was hysterical! My definite favourite parts were the "I Believe I Can Fly" burst in the elavator (that song will never be the same again. "I believe, I believe, I believe, I believe!" -jumps up and done-) and the woman at the grocery store saying "I know what you're doing! Trying to get all up in my goodies!". If you haven't seen it, you have no idea what I'm talking about ^^ If you did, good for you. I thought Jim Carey was funnier than ever here, and Tae Leoni was just perfect. An absolutely hysterical movie!

I was actually disapointed with the film, i thought it would be really funny but then it wasn't... but then i have turned to the dark side of comedy.

Ah, understandable. It wasn't as stupid-funny as I was expecting. Do be honest, I really had no desire to go at all. But I went anyway. And I don't tend to like Jim Carey's movies because I don't go for the stupid comedy (heck, I don't go for comedy at all anymore), but it was real comedy, which is something you never see anymore *cough*Date Movie*cough* Blah.
But then again, it's rare that I go to the theatre at all anymore, so a good part of my "review"/rant was just the excitement of getting out. hah.

You know, Ark, I think that's about when I went. Yup. Haven't been to the movies since. And before it, I saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on it's opening day (july...something). Man, I need to get out more. heh.

I personally rarely watch anything but comedy, and in my opinion Fun with D!ck and Jane was ... naff. Like mission impossible 2+3, they tried far to hard.
Jim Carrey is better as his own director though.

I saw this on the plane coming back from Australia last year, but I had a hard time hearing it, because I was stuck in the back of the plane after almost getting stranded in Syndey, and It was LOUD. But what I heard was pretty good!
