Figured I'd start this ;D It seems like there's been a lot of movies based on Jane Austen's novels, but I've only seen the 2005 version of Pride & Prejudice. I have Persuasion, Mansfield Park, Sense & Sensibility and Emma in my queue on Netflix. Then there was the BBC series version of Pride & Prejudice, which I now have but haven't seen yet. Did I miss any? And if anybody's seen any of these, what did you think? Related Board: Pride & Prejudice Movie Discussion

Oh, the book was lovely! I haven't read any of her others - though I did find Sense & Sensibility at a book sale, I just haven't read it yet

Northanger Abbey is my favorite of the books after Pride and Prejudice. It is definately worth reading. ;D. I'm not sure there's a movie of that one though. Bridget Jone's Diary is based off of Pride and Prejudice apparently, and Confused (or somthing like that... concieted maybe?) was off of Emma. And it was a pretty good modern rendition of it too.

There've been a lot of spoofs and parodies of Pride & Prejudice. There was one of the same title that was modern, then there was Bride & Prejudice and Bridget Jones as you said. Although Bridget Jones is based on a book by the same title, but Colin Firth plays a character named Darcy.

No, but the other dude was wickham, etc. And the lawyer partner was Caroline Bingley. There were a lot of similarities.
*points at sig* This one is from the old version of pride and prejudice with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle.
