Lonely In Secret
He was always there, Playing video games And telling jokes. He always made me laugh.
He knew what to say. He knew what to do To chase away The darkness of dreams.
We teamed together. Acting as snipers Against strange monsters. We never lost.
He teased me of obsessions. Foolish dreams now lost. He taught me to live Without the pressures of others.
He calls every night To tell me of a new game, Or to quell a secret loneliness That he’ll never admit.
Our conversations Always jokes of crimes. But ones we’ll never commit. We never get past talk.
He convinces me I’m more Than what others see. He tells me I am crazy But never literally.
We talk about frustrations. We talk about excitement. He knows my wishes. He knows my dreams.
Brother and sister. He treated me like a princess. Now miles apart He still gives me taunts.
The last games suggested One of horror. One of destiny. Both he knows I’d play.
The words he used To convince me of their worth, “You can tear people in half.” Gore’s always second to story.
Even though he’s distant He told me to sing. He sang with me to chase away His secret loneliness.

...Wow. That's amazing. Really reminds me of someone...kind of depressing. I'm definitely exalting you for this one. -Exalts-

How touching! Reading about these memories makes me feel as though they are my own. You did a fantastic job reaching me (as a reader.)
Favorite line:
We teamed together. Acting as snipers Against strange monsters. We never lost.
Excellent job.
