Well... Um, I'm not quite sure if this is the correct catogory for this or not but I think it is... Anyway, please tell me honestly what you think! I realize it doesn't always rhyme or flow quite right but that's actually part of it so...

Daddy’s Little Girl
Daddy’s little girl,
Wears ribbons and curls,
And a pretty pink dress,
That she wears as she plays,
Outside on warm summer days...
Daddy’s little girl,
Has a dancing smile on her lips,
As she spins around in twirls,
Till she’s laughing and dizzy,
And falls to the ground,
In the soft green grass,
Looking around,
Up into the clear blue skies,
With her sparkling blue eyes...
Daddy’s little girl,
Gasps as the room begins to swirl,
And everything goes black...
She awakes to the to the pain but at she’s alone...
She can’t wait until she’s grown,
So she can get away for good...
When she’s in public,
She hides the bruises with a hood,
And long sleeves to conceal her cut and battered arms,
And she always wears jeans to hide her scarred legs...
Daddy’s little girl,
Lies awake and cries,
No words describe the fear in her eyes,
“Will he come again tonight?”
She huddles beneath her covers,
And shudders as the wind blows,
And the only comfort that she knows,
Is peeking out the window and staring off afar,
Into the vast field of stars...
She’s Daddy’s little girl,
And he cares for her and loves her,
And tells her she’s his world,
As he holds her in his arms...
She’s Daddy’s little girl,
But he couldn’t care less what she feels,
He hates her and hits her,
And tells her she shouldn’t have been brought into this world,
As he takes his anger out on her, leaving another scar...
She’s Daddy’s little girl...
