A thousand feet above the ocean or a thousand feet below; the Realms of the soul, there are no bounds where my spirit cannot go.
Where else but here, for one such as I? far from the hand of man; where else but my own beloved shore of wild Newfoundland.
Rocky cliffs plunge to foamy seas a lonely tern, swooping, cries it's song; for certain, I have been elsewhere but this is where I belong.
With none but the birds to hear my songs and the waves that answer in kind; the sea breeze that chases away the clouds from heart, soul, and mind.
And so at last I've come home rocky cliffs, and sea, and sand; and so to here I will always return my beloved Newfoundland.
--------------------------------------------------
From whence I came... I hope you like it.
(and i hope i did this right)
