Disclaimer: Most of this isn't my story, it belongs to George Lucas and Steven Spielberg. But some elements of it is created by me. Not all of it though.

Chapter One
Victoria took a deep breath as she rode up the field. She was riding a beautiful black horse named Jack. He was a strong horse, very loyal and somewhat young. He was a kind soul. That’s why she liked him over most of other horses. She trusted him more then anyone in her life. She wore a brown worn out felt Fedora hat, a brown leather jacket and a light brown pair of pants. She wore her hair short which made her feel a little like the odd girl out at her school. She really didn’t care about that. What she really cared about was her father’s approval. But she didn’t show it though. She really wanted him, her father to realize she was as tough as he was.
She spent most of her time reading Doctor Jones’ notes. She spent some time with old colleagues of his. They spoke highly of Doctor Jones or as they call him Indiana. He was respected and well liked. She wanted to be like him, going on adventures to foreign lands solving ancient mysteries. But somehow Indy didn’t see that. He kept telling her she was too young. She was twenty-one and well educated. She read dead languages while most girls her age were on dates with cute boys.
She felt odd though about being so interested in such things. She took a deep breath, checked her watch and slowly rode back home.
She put Jack in the stable before heading toward the house. She headed toward the door and slowly entered.
"Dad, I'm home," she said as she walked toward his study. She noticed he didn't answer. So she repeated, "Dad, I'm home. Hello?"
She opened the door and then realized he wasn't here, but something happened. There were papers all over the floor and stuff thrown about. She noticed blood on the floor. It was a big stain, but there were little stains of blood all over the place. Her expression turned from relaxed to nervous as she searched for any clues to where he was.
She paused for a moment before looking down at a note on the desk. She frowned as she picked up. She read it to herself and realized he was in danger. It was in anicent writing that didn't make sense. But she then realized that she was reading it upside down. She turned over and read it again. She feared that her father had gone again for another adventure. She closed her eyes and whispered, "Oh dad, what did you get yourself into now?"
She headed to the front door and went for the family car. It was a Ford Customline Tudor Sedan. It was a year old, but still ran well. She knew how to drive it well. But wasn't sure if she should. She waited a moment before she heard a familiar voice. "What are you doing?"
She looked up at there stood Mutt, he was her somewhat older brother. She frowned at him before she whispered, "Dad did it again."
"Serious? He got himself into another adventure without us?"
"Yep and this time he's in trouble."
"Really, well you should let me drive."
"Why?"
"Cause I'm older."
"Fine," she said with a frown as she then went to seat in the passenger's seat. Mutt turned on the engine and then they were off. It was hard to really tell what was gonna happen, but somehow she had a bad feeling about.
To be continued or not.........
