Usher is a million times more fun if you really analyze it. Then again, that's the fun, and point, of Poe. Absolutely every sentence
WARNING USHER SPOILERS LIE AHEAD
For example, did you know that Usher and the Narrator are the same person? That the house looks like a skull? That the three sub narrative all parallel the main one?

No I'd never realized that. I don't tend to analyze many writers works. I know some are meant to be but I find that far too many that weren't suppose to be analyzed were. I find that when books that weren't meant to be analyzed are it does horrible things to them and the people who read them and I've just chosen to stay away from analyzion unless specifically told to by some one I trust. (*Still shivering over a really bad book club teacher*)

I analyze everything, even movies I'm watching in a theater.

Well, I disect everything, but it's a bit diffrent. When I watch a movie or read a book I look through it with a critical eye and oh just see what my qoute is under my picture that describes it best.
I wouldn't call that analyzing though because when I disect something I'm doing it to look for something to learn from. I found myself wondering exeactly how I would kill the main charater in a Mercedy's Lackey book because he was suddenly nonesentail and distracting.

I analyze for clever use of literary devices, mostly.

Ah... I think we were thinking on diffrent pages perhaps. I've been to other sites where I've found people who thought that the color of the buttons of the second main charater was clearly a relivation on how the author felt about life...*-_- It happened, I died then reserected and walked away*
But I'm about to check out another Poe book from the library, any of his stories you think I should analyze/disect?

Ah, the name escapes me, I'd have to look it up, but definitely over-analyze usher if you read it again, Anabell Lee is a must, the Raven is a great hyper-analyzation poem...
