A/N:As usual, I do not own Sailor Moon, or Molly and Nephlite. This is a short fic that is actually a missing scene from my Love Takes Time fic.In this scene, Molly and Nephlite meet for the first time.Rated a mild PG.If you have a strong dislike for the anime Sailor Moon or the Molly x Nephlite pairing, you do not have to read this.I really don't want any flames.

As Molly prepared to make her final move in the tennis tournament, she glanced briefly at Nephlite. She had wanted to meet him ever since she saw him at the record store a month ago, but was too shy to do so. She vowed not to chicken out this time, and to meet him after the tournament was over. Maybe she could start going steady with Nephlite. She began to fantasize about what a date with him would be like. Dancing, stargazing, sharing a kiss, Nephlite asking her to marry him.........
Molly forced herself to get a grip on reality. She quickly pulled herself together, and made her final move as the ball girl.

After the other tournament participants left, Molly walked up to Nephlite.
"Hey there. I'm Molly Baker. Are you Maxfield Stanton?" she asked.
Nephlite glanced at Molly. His first impression? Definitely a sweetheart. So far, she was the friendliest human he'd come across. And he couldn't help but notice how attractive this girl was. Still, though, he felt a bit awkward. He was an evil Dark Kingdom general, and he didn't know whether to show his true colours or to return the friendliness shown to him. Since he was not on a Dark Kingdom mission at the moment, he decided to do the latter.
"That I am," replied Nephlite, smiling. He gave Molly a firm handshake. Molly eagerly returned the handshake. That simple maneuvre sent a shiver through her. She gave him a shy smile.
Nephlite flattered Molly, telling her that she was the most beautiful woman in the world. Molly blushed at the compliment.
"You're so beautiful," she told Nephlite. She ran her fingers through his long silky chestnut brown tresses. She couldn't help herself; ever since she laid eyes on him, she had fallen in love with his hair, and often fantasized about running her fingers through it. Nephlite smiled at this, and let his hand brush against hers.
"I'll be leaving now," said Nephlite, after awhile.
"All right. Hope to get to know you better," said Molly.
"Same here. Take care," said Nephlite.
Molly waved goodbye, and left the tennis court feeling very happy. Her big crush was turning into LOVE.
'Hmph!' thought Nephlite. He got in his car and drove away.
