A/N: I did actually write this while driving... ahem... it was a traffic jam, what was I supposed to do? Anywho, not as dangerous as it sounds. Writing While DrivingI slip into traffic with ease Despite the rollover in the Westbound lane. The man next to me In the maroon Honda Accord Sits with his arm around The passenger seat, Talking to a girlfriend who Isn’t there. I drift precariously down the lane; the Bailey-Maxwell exit Is a ½ mile away. Left foot on the clutch, Bic pencil clenched in my mouth, Mead Composition notebook Held in my cramping left hand That also steers my yellow Volkswagen Right foot on the break Right hand shifting gears; 1 st, 2 nd, 3 rd, 4 th… And my Bic pencil is in my hand, Scribbling on the page; 5 th... My hand keeps writing, The car keeps weaving, ‘cause the mood has Descended And I’ve got to write; For it might never come again.

WOW! :0
That was great. Oh, I can so picture this as a song. The comparison of writing to driving was surprising, and very creative. Great job.
Favorite line:
Sits with his arm around The passenger seat, Talking to a girlfriend who Isn’t there. (Eerie!)
