I have a couple of blogs that I hope you’ll enjoy and find helpful, The Criticess (http://editorial-consultancy.co.uk/category/the-criticess/) and The Blank Page (http://editorial-consultancy.co.uk/category/the-blank-page/).
The Criticess was born out of a desire to steal female writers, labelled classics and consigned to the doldrums of academia, and to explore them in all their unhinged, electrifying, mischievous, eloquent, mistressful glory, bringing to life those women and works too vital to grow old on dusty bookshelves.
The Blank Page offers advice, tips, and inspiration to writers from those who’ve yet to write a word to those with a mountain of manuscripts who may be flagging a little.

Just checked these out. Very nice layout and good information for writers. I really liked your take on Muses too. I've never really knew of any mythical creature that inspired me to write. I do have one friend who ever time I talk to her ideas pop into my head, but I think that's more just because she makes me think. Even though I have been known to call her my muse at times
