To the girl who refuses to stray
From the path she designed
For those who aren’t aligned

To the girl who gives angels wings
To the girl who tries to know everything
And even if she cannot
Never is she distraught

To the girl who prides in what she knows
To the girl with the beauty of a Christmas rose
To the girl who does not deny
And can learn to say goodbye

To the girl who laughs
At old photographs
To the girl with a past
That won’t hold her back

To the girl who will pray
When life is not okay
To the girl who wrongs
Then smiles and moves on

To the girl who is fair
To the girl who can share
Her joys of life
With those who strive

To the girl not trained to lie
