Wow. I love your imagery. I love how the moon and the tide are 'linked forever by an invisible cord. I love your play with the science of how the tide comes in. I love how in 'their relationship swells and recedes' you bring in the way the moon waxes and wanes, and the fact that the tide goes in and out. It is a truly wonderful poem.
