What to say about this poem? It's more of an angsty love poem, and my first attempt at writing using older english(People say it's not 'Old' english because it isn't confusing enough for that, but that it is older... *shrugs*) in any case, enjoy my horrible poetry...
Afflictions of the Heart Thou hast not heed, For thine own well being, Thy foolery of heart, Hath paid thou not, Thine sword is blunted, By the niceties performed, So many nigh's, Spent howling in anguish, Poor fellow that thou art, I care not for thy loss of heart, Seasons change, As doth mine heart, Long ago my lesson was learnt, When it was broken by thine own hand, Now things have changed, And thou art on the other end of my blade, Forgiveness is not in mine nature, I care not, How many tears pour forth, From thine eyes, Phased not am I, And so I bidst thou adieu, Adieu my sweet love, Sleep forever more.

Well I am not very good with poetry, especially old poetry. Just have problems wrapping my mind around it for some reason, but by the middle of this poem, I actually understood what it was saying. (hey that's saying alot for me)
But anyway, I liked the way if flowed and the message it was getting accross, and honestly it sounds a little like me when I'm wronged, so I can definately relate.
Good poem, all and all. I'd love to read more of your stuff.

This poem is actually getting published in an international book of poetry entitled 'Songs of Honour' XD I'm very excited. Thanks for the positive feedback, it really means a lot.
