I'm just wondering what software everyone uses for writing. I have WordPerfect by Microsoft on my laptop and Microsoft Word on my desktop. I much prefer Word than WordPerfect because it has a much more advanced spellcheck and grammar wizard, but I always do my writing on my laptop so I've no choice but to use WordPerfect.
What does everyone else use?

I use Microsoft Word. For a while, I only used Wordpad 'cause I didn't have MSWord, so I had to surreptitiously check my spelling and grammar so I wouldn't have embarrassing typos or something. But I was glad to get MSWord installed on my beast. xD

MS word is ideal. It has a spellchecker, works efficiently and can identify grammer errors. I cannot think of a better program.

O, Ms word all the way. I only use wordpad when I'm copying and pasting a long body of material, because it does it faster. I use notepad when I'm coding.

Somehow I missed this thread. I too use Microsoft Word. I couldn't live without it. I have Word Perfect but I've never used it.
