Hey all! I thought I'd post a thread for homeschoolers, people who wished they were homeschooled, have been homeschooled in the past, and/or will be homeschooled in the future.
Here, we can discuss what we're doing in our studies, what methods we use, and the general insanity of homeschoolers in contrast to public and private schoolers. ^_^ No, that is not a discriminating remark. If you took it as one, I'm sorry.
Anyway, I'll start with a little bit about myself:
I have been homeschooled for most of my life. I attended a school near a Coast Guard base in California when I was in kindergarten. Then I moved to Louisiana, and the school system where I lived wasn't the best, ratio wise, so I was homeschooled from 1st grade to 3rd grade. Still in Louisiana, I attended a Christian school for the first semester of 4th grade, until my teacher pulled my braid for talking in the bathroom. My mom had had it there so homeschooled us for the rest of 4th grade and 5th grade. Then we moved to Virginia, and my brother and I attended public school for 6th grade and 9th grade (he was 9th grade). We went the entire year, even though I had problems on the bus and my brother was tired of the girls expressing their sexuality in the hallways with other girls. <.< >.>
Well, after that, I have been homeschooled from 7th grade to 10th grade. I attended a co op, as well... This year, along with 10th grade, I want to do 11th grade and graduated next year at a Christian school with my best friend. Yes, I will be going to the darkside. But they have cookies! lol
Anyway, yeah. That's my homeschool story. What's yours?
