Hey all... I figured that there's a lot of bad stuff going around, and I know there is among the people who populate this site, it's helpful to take a step back and think of things you are grateful for. Not to sound preachy or anything, but this is always helpful for me to put things in perspective.
And besides, thanksgiving IS coming up. I'm grateful for my mother who plans al my schoolwork for me, I'm grateful for my boss who is very understanding, I'm grateful for you guys who always make me feel better, I'm grateful for my families, both blood and otherwise, and I'm grateful that I can be grateful. So yeah, when ever you are feeling down, think of something to be grateful for and put it up here! I expect to see a gratitude here for every complaint on the complaint board!

Actually right now I have a lot to be grateful for.
I have two wonderful biological children and a slew of others that I love dearly.
I have a husband, who brought me roses the other day for no reason at all.
I have an inner sense of peace that has been absent for months now and I finally found it again not too long ago.
I have an abundance of creativity.
So yeah, it's nice to remember all these things.

M, that is so sweet about the roses. And the inner peace, man. I'm workin' on that one too. Well, I'm grateful that I"ve become a regular at the Starbucks that is oh so conveniently located directly between work and school. I go in, if the right people are working, I get free and/or discounted coffees and lattes. So awesome, man. One of the workers there is really cute, too, and flirts with me a bit. And I'm grateful for that, definitely. xP But that's a different story I won't continue with....at least on a board. I guess I could continue the stuff that's supposed to sound a bit profound and sweet and say I'm grateful for friends and family, blood and not. There, my contribution to the love fest. I'm done now.

Haha, the best thing happened today!!! I finished this wonderful book and it turned out so much better than I had imagined!!!!! Way to go with the starbucks and the dude ri. And no, twigs, I have no intention on going to divinity school unless I decide to become a military chaplain which I'm not so sure I'm interested in anymore.

Too cute, Mage. I love this. Well, I'm grateful for the things in my life - my books, my music and movies, particularly - that I can turn to when I'm not feeling great, and the effect - however crazy some people might find it - that these things can have on my mood. I have my troubles in getting by, but it would be impossible without being able to steal away in my little make-believe worlds. Also, I'm grateful for my dog, the only one who really 'gets' me.

I'm grateful for the band Lifehouse (watch this video: First Time) because I listen to them after work almost all the time. The music at work sucks, and to hear these guys is a relief. They's such a raw and open style of music and lyrics that I really relate with a lot of their songs on one level or another. So what I'm most grateful for about them is the fact that their music has such an awesome affect on me.
