I'm so grateful I got my wisdom teeth out this morning. I only had the two on the bottom, and the one on the left side of my jaw was impacted, so it hurt so bad! >< Such as, I wasn't sleeping through the night, couldn't sleep on my left side, was popping painkillers almost alarmingly...yeah. So yeah I'm in a bit of pain right now but it's nothing I can't handle, it is nothing compared to how I felt before the surgery.
Best part is that I have some awesome drugs. Oxycodone, man. The surgery was over so fast, too. I was going over some rules with the dental assistant, "Okay, no straw, no sucking out of bottle tops, just pouring, and then I have soup at hand, so don't suck out of the top, right?" In the middle of the question, the surgeon came in, said hello, "Okay we're going to increase your drip a little bit, all right! I'm going to go say hi to your mom." He patted me on the shoulder, and by that time, things are getting dim. I already have nitris oxide going up my nose, so I'm giggly over that, and then I heard the dental assistant say "Just use spoons for stuff." She barely finishes that sentence and that is the last thing I remember before passing out. I'm almost a little scared if I said anything before being completely out, because I've been known to drift in and out.
When I woke up, I was like, "Wow, this is awesome," because I was in a fluffy chair with a blankie. They took out my IV (when they put it in, I was like, "Ladidadida," because needles don't bother me and I've had plenty of IVs before, plus I was high) and I just sat there recovering. Then they walked me out to the truck, I decided I needed to pee so stumbled inside again, went back to the truck, and then passed out again until my mom went to Rite Aid to fill my prescription. Then I went upstairs, passed out again and had a trippy dream.
But anyway. Cheers for no more wisdom teeth!!
