This was the second poem that I ever wrote...
The Wanderer
Alone and forgotten,
In a place dark and dreary,
Where the heart is ceaselessly re-broken,
Nobody cares for the lost wanderer,
The black shadow that cries in the night,
Everything has been lost, no longer is there hope,
For this lost and lonely wanderer is all alone.
Death remains ever at hand,
First one fell, then the other,
Leaving an orphan behind,
Hoping beyond hope that death would come swiftly,
Instead he was left behind,
Wandering aimlessly about,
Wondering why they had left him behind.
He was left alone, forgotten in a dark place,
His heart was broken when they left him behind,
He cries in the night, begs for death to take him,
He is the lonely wanderer.

Wow. I really enjoyed this poem. It does leave a sad after-taste, doesn't it? Great job.
Favorite line:
Where the heart is ceaselessly re-broken, Nobody cares for the lost wanderer
~Song <3

Thank you! This was one of my first poems I'd ever written >< so it lacks a bit, but I guess it really is an okay thing... Anyway, sorry for taking such a terribly long time to reply, I've been a bit stressed lately with graduating then life in general and all...
