Well I have done a little research on the matter of ratings. I realize that a few months ago we talked about setting the ratings guide using the standardized one that was set for movies, but I discovered why other fiction websites switched to the FictionsRatings.com version. It seems that the company that set up the standardized ratings for movies threatened to sue and writing website that used thier rating system. So due to this fact I have decided that we will use the FictionsRatings.com version to keep out of the fire.
The rating system is as follows.
K--no pairings, nothing that can scar little children.
K+--pairings can be mentioned in passing (implied) but nothing explicit, no swear words, miminal violence (similar to Bambi).
T--pairings can be present (orange level), a few swear words blocked out with **** by the site, non explicit violence, the expelling of wastes can be used
M-- Adult themes are no longer allowed on the site.
A-- Adult themes are no longer allowed on the site.
For any moderators that have posted a Ratings guide in your sections please replace those ratings with these which will be standardized for the entire site.
