You're not ranting. Your just telling it like it is. I personally don't have anything against it. My college roomate was a homosexual man, and I absolutely loved him to death. I still do, even if the rat moved half a country away.
I think things are getting better on that front, to an extent, but we still have a long way to go before the discrimination ends. I think it's sad that we are supposed to be such an enlightened country that risked everything to gain our freedom, but yet we can't accept the differences within our own people.
Yes I know, I'm on the soap box again. Al's gonna beat me if I don't quit stealing it.

I think it's okay, I've given her about fifty soap boxes recently because I've been ranting a lot lately.
Well I don't think it will any time soon when we have zero discrimination, but one day I think we'll make it.

I saw it today at the first session in Brisbane and I have to say that I was slightly miffed at the timeline of events. they got it wrong!!!! the effects were very good, though. and the extra humour was a plus!!!
I agree with M. they could have made it a little longer and put in all the essential bits in. i would have gladly stayed in longer to watch more.
it was a storm to get in the theatre. people stampede!!! but we got good seats.

They definately did not have enough of him in any of the movies. But he should have a larger part in OotP. And by then he should be even more droolish. (Hmm. I like that word.)

Yeah, the timeline bothered me a bit, too...The fact that they arrive to Hogwarts and that night Beuxbaton and Durmstrang arrive (which I'm certain were not originally all girl and all boy, respectivly, in the books, because there is a line that one of the Patils went off with a boy from Beuxbatons--I think).
Felton was at Hogwarts...you can't have Malfoy the bouncing ferret without him. But he looks hot in Hogwart robes, too. *drool* d**n, got to wash this sweater...again.

You know, I wondered about that in the story I'm writing. I originally was going to have my OFC from Durmstrang, but then I wondered whether there were any girls at Durmstrang, because I never heard it mentioned before. So I changed it to Beauxbatons. Yeah he was there, but I wanted to see so much more. Darn if it ain't fair. M.

Well where else would they send Central European witches if not to Durmstrang...I'm really not sure except Mugglenet says they only accept purebloods, and women can be purebloods, too.
