Ouch Poor Dustfinger. I was reading about some of the characters last night, so I have an idea of who's who - but I still plan to read/listen to the books I haven't watched the commentary on A Knight's Tale yet, who besides him is in it? I love those things, you get to hear the little details of things that happened on the set and such. Quite fun!

Actually, what I heard was on his website, the one you sent me a link to last night, in the "Media" section. Just scroll down the audio and listen. It's quite funny. He has such a sweet accent, it's hilarious to hear him talking about...what they were talking about. xD I just had to lean back and laugh at it.
So I went to Blockbuster and rented two movies: 3:10 to Yuma because I love Chris Bale, and Wimbledon since I'd wanted to see it when it came out, but didn't have money to. Yay Blockbuster! Get to see Mr. Naturally Blond playing tennis. hah
Yes, poor Dustfinger. He's a very conflicted character. This is a minor spoiler, but he admits to being a coward, and as we know cowards walk the line between "good" and "bad", usually going for the highest bidder in their favor. Soooooo....*twiddles thumbs* There were points in Inkheart where I was very upset with Dustfinger, but at the same time it's quite understandable. Though one part, I couldn't try to relate to him at all. *sigh* But anyway, enough spoiling.
Idril, I"ll let you know how Wimbledon is when I watch it, but it got very good reviews and Paul doesn't talk about Wimbledon as if he'd rather it not have happened. Plus, it has Kirsten Dundst, who is such a good actress in my opinion.

Double post but I watched Wimbledon and it was wonderful. It was really what I needed after reading about some depressing pathology. And, as in most movies, Paul did show off his bottom and it was quite a funny scene. xD
So if you do get the chance, dearest Idril, do rent it. Or download it. Whatever you have to do.
What was funny was I kept seeing Dustfinger in the eyes and the smile...obsessed? Maybe a little...

Hahaha, I actually bookmarked it to download a long time ago. I wonder if the links are still up... ♥ And I love Kirsten Dunst. I still want to see her as Marie Antoinette. I listened to those audio clips, too, about the duct tape and such. Hysterical. And I love how calm and passive he was when he was talking about it. All the talk of A Knight's Tale made me want to watch it today; I love the scene when Chaucer first announces "Ulrich", after the sword fighting tournament, and he ends it with, "We walk in the garden of his turbulence!" And nobody really knows what to do, so Roland does that really funny, "...yeaaah!" out of the corner of his mouth, and everyone joins in. ;D

Ahahaha, yeah...very passive and calm. He stammers; so cute. "Because if you to the 123GO, you tend to lose a little more than your pride." xD That one, the one before it, about the Buttocks, and then the last audio clip crack me up. I'm not sure which Chaucer story they were referring to.
Roland was funny. Heck, the whole movie was great, a very good watch...

Yep, I listened to the buttocks one, too. And the intro, when he's like, "I'm Paul Bettany, and I am an ill-advised adolescent." And I had to listen to the weevils clip, too. I love how Aubrey laughs so hard. It makes it even funnier. Everybody in the cast was funny! I love Alan Tudyk, too. And of course Heath. I love when he follows her into the church and asks her name; "Call me a fox, for that is all I am to you." "A fox? Well, then a fox you shall be until I find your name, my foxy lady!" ;D And Jocelyn is priceless in that scene, too.

lol, A Knight's Tale is one of my favorite movies. Oh, and that quote goes, "You have been weighed. You have been measured. And you have been found wanting. Welcome to the new order, may God save you, if it is right that he do so." Well, that's a bit closer xP I haven't seen that movie in months.
Hmm... I'll have to watch the commentary on A Knight's Tale if it's that funny. The movie in general was hilarious though ^.^ And I know what you mean about the turbulence scene, the ones where he announces "Ulrich" are my favorites xD
Downloading, huh? .... I'm so jealous... xD Oh well. I have a season of CSI to keep me happy for the moment.
