"Well yes, so long as we heat the liquid up to the proper temperature, which leaves the faint fear of sewer gas explosion. I'll go down there, we just need to find some very, very angry fire magi. He sighed, trying to think before plucking a vial from his robes labeled with a very foreign "ペッパミント" before taking a swig of it, seeming to calm down. Despite the foreign label, the minty smell gave the vial's contents away immediately.
"Perhaps we can find some way to get some consistent, moving heat source... Electricity!" he called out, standing up suddenly. "With the power on, the wires will be live; just start the water sparking, and it should steam gently enough not to overdose anyone."

Fire Magi? Okay, that was a new one on her. She'd never met one of them before.
She listened to his ideas and kept quiet knowing she didn't have the technological know how to add to his thought process. But at least he seemed to know exactly what he wanted to do. That was a good thing.
"Okay, just tell me what you need me to do," she said trusting that he would not steer them wrong.
The voices were beginning to be drowned out in the back of her mind. They were still there, but the idea that hope was still readily available to them caused the voices to quiet some. The one thing she knew was that she wanted them out of her head and he was offering a solution to that problem. At the moment she'd do anything to fix it.

"We need to get to the water plant." Ark stated calmly, though his demeanor was increasingly tense and feral. "And soon, I'm going to need a bit of sanity around me if I want to even try to keep myself in check." he muttered, rubbing his snout.
"I think I passed the confounded place on the way to the city, somewhere towards the woods. It's getting hard to think straight." he sighed, slumping down into a chair. "One of you has to know where it is, right?"

A scruffy girl stood barefoot on a rocky outcrop looking down at the city that was once her home. In her short life of 16 years many things had happened, none she would particularly dwell on. Balls of light and fire spewed into the sky followed by screams and cries of the inhabitants. Tia winced at the cries of the people hoping that anyone she knew weren’t the ones crying with such madness. The stink of fear and blood wafted in the wind almost making the girl empty her stomach. There was no way she was going into the City in that despite how hungry she was. Maybe there were some berries and roots left in her stores Tia thought and picked her way back to her cave. A pile of fabric and leaves tucked behind a wall constituted her bed and behind it was a small box in which Tia kept her food stores. She picked up the box and tipped it upside down on her lap. A few piles of dust settled on her lap but that was it. She sighed and pattered lightly out of the cave to see if there was any food nearby.

Well that was one thing she certainly could help out with. She knew the city like the back of her hand. "Yeah, you're right. It's out west of town not far past my home, and butted up right next to the woods. We can be there in no time."
Well they could be there in no time if it wasn't for the hordes of insane people everywhere. "Do you think you could clense the way for us, like that thing you did with the sand earlier? It would be alot quicker than me hacking and slashing everything in sight with this pig sticker."

Ark nodded, pushing himself out of the chair quietly and moving towards the door. With a quick peek, he was happy to see that most of the deranged denizens of the hospital corridors had taken to the streets once again. A pleasing prospect, especially since he wasn't sure how much control he had over his own desire to kill right now. The one or two afflicted persons in the hallway were quietly huddled alone in corners sobbing, or simply catatonic.
It was hard to live with extra voices in your head.
So, they pressed onward. Sure, Jude and Ata were armed, but this was a city on he rampage. Even he had second thoughts dealing with that many magically inclined people in one go. Thankfully, most of the people had taken to random acts of violence against each other. Bad, but it made their job easier.

Jude sat listening to the conversation around her, shrugging every so often in a noncommittal sort of way. The vampire was right, the water plant was on the outskirts of town since it was often quite loud. However, Jude was still a little lost on what exactly Ark wanted to do.
When they began moving, Jude slid off her bench seat and took a few steps toward them, toward the door, but paused. She had more tests going on her blood, and the results for the original tests were still sitting on the counter, unmoved and untouched. Quickly, she grabbed them and folded them in half a few times before shoving them in her pocket.
It was eerily quiet as they made their way through the hospital corridors and out into the street. Outside was a bit louder, but most of it was distant, far off. There were screams, gunshots, any manner of odd noise. Jude shuddered.
Whatever they were going to do, she just wanted to do it quickly.
