Yeah pretty much It really depends on how 'brave' men are to wear them out So it tends to be men over 40 that wear them hahahaha

Depends how drunk they are But yeh, its a rare sighting to see folk wearing kilts Unless its at a Scotland soccer match Then its like swarms of tartan all over the place! OOO new year! Thats another time when people (guys mostly) wear kilts

Tartan, from my last holiday to scotland, is still quite in fashion. Kilts have and always will be ceremonial dress, but yes, they are equivelant to a a shirt and tie for weddings,etc. New year? They just do it for old langsiegn(sp?) seeing as they wrote the d**n thing, and they're the only ones who know all the words.
Still, scotland is 'in my opinion' nicer than England, spesh on thier lack of chavs and chavess's, though again, that is from my holiday.
Haven't seen a welsh chav either.

*watches as the lingo flies over her head* I'm Scottish....and Irish....and a bunch of other stuff. xD Mage - James McAvoy, who played Mr. Tumnus in the Narnia movie, wore his kilt to the movie premiere 'cause it was a special event to him. I thought that was so frickin' awesome.
