Well, I'm working on a cross stich for my grandmother's birthday...I'm almost finished...I'll scan it when I'm done and put it up. Meanwhile, I'm also planning two projects when I'm finished. One is another cross-stich, I plan to do my first cross stich that I designed. I plan to cross stich Roxas from Kingdom Hearts: Then I also plan to start work on my Tekknoshocon cosplay. There are a couple plans in the works for it. But two characters I'm certain about are Zexion and Axel from Kindom Hearts 2: Axel: Zexion (the guy with silvery-black hair in the bottom left corner...need more pics of him): The good news for this is I can re-use the coat...the bad news is Axel is like annorexically thin...I'll have to use buckles on the inside of the coat to readjust it for Axel. Anyways, that takes care of two days of cosplay. My third day I'm either going to be organization!Roxas (see the first pic) or a Dancer Nobody, depending if I have the time to create another costume. Dancer Nobody (need more pics): If I do the Dancer Nobody, one thing I'll do is get a light beige long-sleeved turtle neck and put the black cross shape on it (as well as the black cuffs) that way I don't risk showing people something I don't want to show. Make-up or gloves for the hands. Make-up on the face, eye-holes in the hat...I probably won't do this because I can't knit...but it's worth a thought.

Double Post (sorry), but I've gotten my cross stich done, and as promised, here's a pic: Sorry it's so tiny, maybe when I get it framed I'll be able to get a better picture of it. I'm also changing my mind about the Roxas pic, I'm thinking about doing a different pic of him...I don't know yet, but I think I want to work with non-Organization!Roxas (which means he's wearing different clothing)...I'll figure it out soon.

Aww that's cute Anime. ^_^
I have a cross-stitch at home that I'm slowly working on...very slowly. It's Japanese kanji (sure hope it's the right one..) for Family, I believe, and it's got flowers and stuff. It's nice.

Sounds nice, and if you're not sure on the kanji, get me a picture of it and I'll look it up.

Well, so far in Ri cosplay land, I've gotten three, almost four done. xD Yes, it sounds pitiful but I'll have you all know I've been out of town and taking a break so my poor afflicted brain doesn't suffer. But anyway.
My sis and I decided to do two more cosplays, one each. She's going to be Winry from Fullmetal Alchemist, and I'll be Ed from the same anime. So I got the Winry cosplay done already, it was easy. With the Ed cosplay, I'm not doing much for it: I made his jacket a while back, so I'm gonna find a loose, black tanktop and some black pleather pants (thank God Nekocon is in November; hopefully it'll be cold) and run around with the jacket slung over my shoulders. So I technically I didn't have to do much for that. But can we say "hello thrift stores"? I have to look for rain boots I can terrorize for Ed's shoes, and then get some tennis shoes for the Riku cosplay.
But I have the pants done for the Riku cosplay, and I'm taking a break right now from the vest. There's a nice list of stuff left to do but it isn't that time consuming. The worst part will be figuring out how to get the lining set in and all...I think I'll end up using biased binding.
I have the patterns for my Howl cosplay; the shirt patterns will need altering though, so the sleeves are short. And I decided I'm gonna do an easier jacket (I'll have to make my own pattern for that since I highly doubt that there's a pattern for a jacket as big as his). The easier one is just a solid grayish color with lavender/cornflower blue triangles on it. Acrylic paints will be my friend.
For the Namine dress, I'm sort of waiting until my patience regains so I can work on apprenticing my sister with it, but that's gonna be double layered so she won't freeze too badly. For the scalloped edges, I think I'm gonna use the narrowest biased binding I can get to keep the lining and the outside together and not start swearing at it.
For the Sophie dress...ehehehe....I've been searching for patterns but I think I'm just gonna have to go through all my other patterns, pick out pieces, and alter...woopee. Anybody envy me yet?
So that's my update thus far. I can't post any pics of my cosplays yet, though...
