Ooooh what fool of a person said he wasn't romantic comedy material? Poor, misled soul. Yes, that word is so perfect; determined.

I'm really wanting to watch A Beautiful Mind, but I don't have any time between homework and some other things...I wish I could watch it tomorrow, but I have class and then at like 3:30 I have to leave to get my sister in law, so I'd barely have time to watch it, depending on what time I get home. Then Friday, I'm going with someone while he gets a tattoo. o.o Wow. So I'm really wanting to see it and trying to find time!! I heard it's really good...
That person must have been on something when they said Paul was no good for romantic comedy. He sure showed them! He was bloody marvelous in Wimbledon, just another character to add to his resume. So we've had: bad guy (everyone seems to remember him as a bad guy/villian); imaginary friend; tennis playing lover; a monk who kills people (I think?); a colonial-ish ship doctor; soon to be a fictional yet real fire-eater; and many other things....what a nice list. I love actors who play diverse roles, not just sticking to, "Oh, I'm drop dead gorgeous so I'm gonna play a hunk all the time." People who aren't afraid to do something potentially controversial are just amazing...

Lol, putting out fires with your fingers is easy. Lust lick your forefinger and thumb, and squeeze the wick really fast. ^.^ I do it all the time, because of the warnings about now blowing out candles or whatever. *shrugs*
Yes, Ellen is awesome ^.^ She is just SO funny.
And dude, I need to see all of these movies xD I like him, but I haven't seen ANY of them. It makes me feel bad, especialy since I like him a lot.

I watched the first twenty minutes or so of A Beautiful Mind and I really enjoyed it. I'm anxious to see the rest of it. Paul was great, and rather funny, and Russel is of course an incredibly talented actor. He looked so young, I thought! And yeah, that's a diverse repertoire Paul's got. Silas was an incredibly intense, tragic character; he did murder, but I remember being most disturbed by the Roman Catholic rituals (or, rather, the combination of Brown's somewhat morbid descriptions and the character's very dark personality). For example, the cilce I believe it was called, and the various forms of self-condemnation, done (if I remember right) to teach themselves obedience. Anyway, Silas murders from a young age, but it's not a bloodlust, it's rather brought on by others. So it makes for a very lost character, I found. Paul was actually one of the reasons I didn't want to see The Da Vinci Code: I thought of Paul in the role and I knew he would be so believable and so intense, that I would probably be freaked out. I prefer Paul as a good guy, personally. And if he's a bad guy, one like his character in Firewall. I hear he's playing a bad guy in The Secret Life of Bees? I could be wrong on that, though.

Yes, he's playing the bad guy in Secret Life of Bees. That will be an intense movie, too, because of the actors they have. I'm pretty sure it's Dakota Fanning playing the little girl. But anyway. I think I might watch Da Vinci Code when I exchange movies at the rental store. I'll let you know what I think of it. Well, I think I'm gonna watch what I can of A Beautiful Mind before running errands....hopefully I can get at least mostly finished with it... And I prefer him as a good guy, too, but he's preferrable in any movie.

The Da Vinci code was a good movie. Paul did a really good job in it too, he really freaked me out. Just remember that everything the movie says is complete and total bull xD It's all been disproven. It's fiction, and not to be taken as fact. (sorry for the mini-mini-rant, people actually believe fiction of all things... *shakes head*)
What's the Secret Life of Bees about?

Yeah, I know it's fiction. There was this huge controversy and research done to disprove it all. The Secret Life of Bees. But seeing as there's no synopsis there, it's pretty much this girl, Dakota Fanning playing Lily Owens, runs away from her abusive father, Paul Bettany as T. Ray Owens. She ends up at this house where three African American women (Queen Latifah, Alicia Keys, and someone else), make honey and stuff. And that's all I remember about it. It's a book...
