Sleep... he expected her to sleep in these woods after an encounter like that!
She looked over at him seeing if he was possibly jesting her with the statement. But the look on his face was ever so much sincere. She knew it would be a good idea. Even though her enhanced DNA made sleep not as pressing a need as it did most sentient beings, she still needed to sleep at least a couple of hours a day to keep going.
She could hear a stream trickling off to their left probably only a few hundred feet or so. More than likely they could rest there away from the main path, where no others would notice them. "I guess that would be acceptable. Let's strike off the path here and see if there is a good place to camp for a few hours," she answered motioning them to the left.

Lore nodded in agreement. "We'd best stay fairly close to the path though; Hisaka's tribe wouldn't likely come across us again if he figured we'd bedded down for the night close to where he just met us." he explained, stretching lightly and patting a rather thick pad of pine needles on the floor. "I don't have much of a proper pack with me, but I'm used to traveling in these woods, so I'm sorry if these aren't the most stellar of accommodations. I feel rather ungentlemanly not providing for a young lady's comforts."

Comforts... my if he only knew. Comfort had been the last thing available to her throughout her life. In the lab everything had been cold and sterile, hard and unyeilding. Then in the outside world she'd been forced to bed down wherever was convenient until she joined with the gypsies. At least with them she had managed to acquire a tent and bedroll, but those things had been left behind.
"That is fine. I am used to roughing it, but your efforts are greatly appreciated." With that she settled down into the pine needles and soon drifted off into a light doze.

Lore nodded politely, leaping up to grab a nearby branch and hoisting himself aloft to get a better view of the surrounding area, sitting stark still, his club in his lap.
He took in the sounds of the forest with abject pleasure.
Lore quietly mulled over the constant din of the forest that was well beyond the grasp of those not blessed with a personal link with nature. He could hear Hisaka's tribe in the woods to the northwest, a large wolf stalking somewhere to the south, and the light buzz of faerie wings. Lore smiled; they were close indeed. For now, he listened, waiting to see if Vissiel made a move on his own.
