Yes. Quite a lot of people don't realize that Drama and drama are completely different things. *shakes head in sorrow* Those poor souls.
Depends on how you look at it. I don't mean drama as in just school, I meant drama as in like going to watch Phantom of the Opera, Cats (hated it. My theater teacher calls it "That cat thing, something we don't talk about in this room", or Into the Woods or something.
And since this is a school board and we got really off-topic, I'll do my best to get it back on topic.
My theater teacher, (have you noticed that I spell it the English way, instead of the American way? Her fault too), told us a story about how she had a class of really gullible intro students. The class was mostly freshman (bless their hearts), and she would always tell them these fantastical tales about Theater and they'd just swallow them up.
Anyways, she told us that one time she had this class absolutely convinced that Shakespeare was black. Not even joking. One of the smarter intro students asked "Then why are his pictures all white?" And the teacher said, "That's because we blacks come in all colors, from black as night to d**n near white". She even had the upper level students who knew better nodding along so that they could play the joke on the freshies lol.
My teachers a trip though. She's an african american woman, and every Halloween she jokes about 'how the neighbors would react if she went trick or treating in a klan robe'. *shakes head* God she's amusing.
Then she told us that she really had worn a klan robe to a Halloween Party once! She was the hit of the party apparently. A black woman in klan robs lol.
