They're fun enough. I had a wave of satisfaction today that I did really good on a massage for an upperclass(wo)man. It's feelings like those that make me glad I chose to do this.
We had a hands-on test today, and I think when I finished the massage, the feeling was possibly aimed at "*relief* It's over!" lol
But we're off for the weekend, yay! Yes, I have three day weekends. They're awesome.

Lol, that's cool. Sounds like something I'd enjoy, because I'm more than likely going to need two jobs... I want to become a teacher. =( Did you know most teachers in our country have to have two jobs? Ugh, it's horrible. Oh well. I'll make it =D Especially if I become a published author...

There you go, publish a few books and you're set. Just make sure they're best sellers. But massage therapy makes a LOT of money. *nod* People will pay $100 or more for a one-hour massage. Of course, that's at the really high-end places. I don't think I'd pay for a $100 massage unless I a) knew the practitioner and b) knew it was gonna be good. Because a massage that expensive better be really freakin' awesome. What are you planning to teach?

Sounds like you're career path is set for life then, huh? Lol. It sounds like a lot of fun too... I'll have to look into it.
Oh, and I was planning on majoring in history, since that's something I can easily research on the net at home BEFORE college lol. A quote that is something along the lines of "forewarned is prepared" or something, but I KNOW that's not it xD Lol. I'll figure it out.

lol, yes, something like that. History is okay; it isn't my favorite subject but it's all right. I really like certain periods, like medieval and renaissance. Or how's this? I like world history, but American history is kind of like, "Eh, whatever."
But anyway. Yeah, I'm set for quite a while as an MT as long as I use correct body mechanics. And I'll tell you now, it isn't easy. The therapist is working really hard, it isn't just rubbing somebody. And in my opinion, it's harder for males to be in the business because you either come across homosexuals, or sometimes women just aren't comfortable receiving a massage from a man.
Not trying to be sexest, though. Women don't have it easy, either. Sometimes men will specifically request a male therapist because they think a woman isn't strong enough to meet their massage needs, while, in fact, we are. *nod*
But yeah. Stuff like that. Plus you have to be good with anatomy and physiology...

It's not so much liking history as having this really weird brain that picks up random facts and remembers them, even if I don't want to. It's why I'm pretty good at game shows, because I can see an episode and when it comes on again know every answer =p
Yeah, homophobia is a problem in pretty much any profession that requires you to wear scrubs. My mom is a nurse, and one halloween I borrowed her scrubs and asked people, "I can't decide what's scarier. Should I be a homicidal brain surgeon, or a nurse?" Most people told me I was a nurse. Wrong, eh?
And you mean I have to take anatomy!!!! NO!!!!! I don't want to cut the poor little fetus piggy!

Um, no, not that kind of anatomy. Just human anatomy. You know, bones, muscles...medical stuff, basically. I would be suspiciously "absent" if we had to cut open a pig fetus. It's just wrong on so many levels...
