Yeah, I saw it. She played the water glasses, actually. That is so much fun! But challenging, too. My finger always dries out. My friend got a photo of me (when I had brown hair) playing the water glass because I was bored. hah.... And about the bottle, yeah, I'd been wondering about that for a while. Thanks. ^_^ Urghh....I teach piano to a girl my age (beginning piano) on Mondays. And she is really giving off the attitude of "I'm only here because my mom made me." You won't get anywhere with that 'tude! A couple times I was so close to saying, "Listen, sweetie, ya gotta cheer up about this! Piano is fun! And quite frankly, your attitude sucks about it! That's why you don't like it!" And stuff along those lines. But today, she was more excited. (which, that still isn't the enthusiasm I encourage, but okay, it was progress; for someone to reach my encouraging enthusiasm, they have to be hyped up on something; I go bouncing up and down.) So, it was easier, while I was there, which wasn't long. I split between teaching and a watercolors class. (yeah, 'magine...me a painting artist...hehe) So we only went over some notes. Then the main teacher started to go over some stuff with her. Oh, if anyone has a link to some easy piano music, but not stuff that will bore you to death, please let me know. I need to find some music for my student. One reason why she doesn't like it, I'm betting, is because learning things that are so easy afterwards is just like...a snorefest/frustration. SO, yeah.....preference for an easy Fur Elise? If that's possible, hahaha....anyway, thanks. Gotta get some sleep, hafta work in a couple hours.

Yay for guitarists. I think they are so neat for some reason. Probably because they can do something I can't very well...I just don't have the talent for it, really. Has anyone heard that song "Letters To You" by Finch? They're a punk band...really neat. But anyway, the acoustic version of that song is so cool. ;D One song I would loooove to figure out the music for is Better Days, by the Goo Goo Dolls...it's their single for their upcoming album. It's so beautiful... -sighs- Anyone who watches CNN may have heard it for the Hurricane Katrina relief. It's on one of the videos. But they cut out the bridge! That's like the best part of the song!! Feh. I'm a huge GGD fan. lol The only song I can play on the guitar is by them - it's Black Balloon. I don't know if they'll have the tab for Better Days, but Olga.net has a lot of guitar tab. The first song I learned to play (Good Riddance/Time of Your Life by Green Day) I got the tab for off of there.

Omgz....I watched the video for Better Days tonight. For the first time. *faints* It was so....well, to really be able to describe it, I'd have to watch it again. (Had distractions in the background.) But, it was totally different from what I was expecting! John had described it as lighting up a forest like a rock concert at night. So I had pictured tall pine trees, then this blue-ish light suddenly popping up, and then the camera cuts to them playing on a stage and stuff. But no! It was so different! I really recommend it to you guys, whether you are a Goo Goo Dolls fan or not. You can find it on Yahoo! Music.
I'll be sure to check there, thanks Bluelyra. ^_^ I really want the piano music for it, though, since it's really pretty. A lot of chords near the end of it.
For guitarists, how many of you can fingerpick? Decently? ^_^" lol Fingerpicking is fun, though a little challenging. I prefer to actually use my fingers, rather than a pick, because it's like "Okay, more effort and thought into which string," when I'm kind of focusing on what strings I'm pressing on the neck. haha....There's this one song (another GGD song, of course) called "Acoustic #3" that has the prettiest picking. ^_^
Okay...yeah...it's 1AM...kinda tired. Gotta be up and moving in about 8 hours. feh...

has anyone seen on Miss Conginiality where she plays the bottels. i loved that LUV AL Stan: Please describe your perfect date. Cheryl: That's a tough one. I'd have to say April 25th, because it's not too hot, not too cold, and all you need is a light jacket. I love that movie

I love that movie too! It's on all the time. XD About the only thing I can play right now is Wipeout and a few videogame tunes. I tried to play Simple Plan using tabs about a year ago... thaaaat didn't go over so well.
The reason I want the electric guitar down pat is because I would LOVE to learn to play music by 'the pillows'. And I bought a Spiderman guitar book with all the songs from the movie in it just for kicks.
