lol....yeah...I can get the chords when I read tabs, but my strumming sucks! Pitiful, yeah, but I end up making my own crappy strum pattern that, you have to hear the words with the music, to know what I'm playing. >.< I'll stick to the piano, thanks, where I know what I'm doing. But it's still fun to listen to people play the guitar.

lol, Al.
I'm gonna get all philosophical on y'all here....
When I'm playing the piano, sometimes I just get into the music so much that I don't pay attention to my surroundings. I only see the music. Sometimes, if I'm really into it, I only see the individual notes I'm playing. Then, something loud happens and the trance is ruined. >.< lol But, I played a grand piano at a hotel in California, and I was soooo nervous, since it was in the lobby! And there were people there! I was kind of shaking through the first song. But once I got into the music, I almost forgot where I was, basically. It was so neat.
Then I ran out of music that I could play in front of people w/o messing up. XD lol

I was playing the piano the other day, then I had this revelation (yes, high and lofty word...) that I had to share with my mom. It was that I could seriously see myself playing in a lounge club. Which I really wanna do that. The performing in front of hundreds of people I don't know doesn't really bother me. If I can get into the music, I'll be disappointed when my segment is up. And since it'll be jazz, I hope, it'll be great. Jazz, you really gotta put yourself into it, really feel the music. That, you can fudge around. But with classical music, to me, it's a lot of technique. Nothing wrong with technique; it's great. But, there are just some pieces that it's hard to really feel...
*flips two coins at random person*
Enjoy!
